How can I register for the conference?

Can I pay for the conference using a credit card?

Yes. If you register via Eventbrite, you have the option to pay using credit card.

How do I make payment if I choose the following payment options: PayNow! / Bank Transfer / Cheque?

Once registered, you will receive an email of subject title: “AAC Payment Information”. Follow the instructions stated to make full payment.

How do I know if registration is successful if I made payment via PayNow! / Bank Transfer / Cheque?

Registration can only be considered successful when full payment is made and received within 7 working days upon the date of registration.

You will receive an email that contained the confirmation ticket separately after full payment is made and received.

Registration is unsuccessful if full payment is not received.

How to I enjoy the Early Bird or Standard Pricing via Payment Options for PayNow! / Bank Transfer / Cheque?

To enjoy Early Bird Pricing (S$700.00) or Standard Pricing (S$850.00), full payment must be made before the deadline otherwise the next tier pricing will be applicable if payment is over the deadline. This is regardless of payment terms stated in the email.

What happens if I need to cancel my registration?

Attendees can request 100% refunds before 20 September 2019.

Processing of refund for payment made via PayNow!, Cheque and Bank Transfer may take more than 30 working days upon emailing in. Please email to accounts@aacsg2019.org and registration@aacsg2019.org for refund request.

For refund of payment via Eventbrite, please request via Eventbrite.

Can I transfer my registration to another person in my organization?

Yes. If you have registered via Eventbrite, just login and change your registered name, email address and details.

If you have registered via other payment methods, please e-mail registration@aacsg2019.org with your request for transfer.

Please note that the names downloaded will be what you have input on the registration form. We cannot amend the names after the conference. Do input as per your full name stated on your NRIC and tally with the HR records.

The official receipts will be send together with the conference tickets to the delegate. Delegate please send it to your HR department or HR department to get it from the delegate.

Where is the conference held?

The conference will be held at Resorts World Sentosa at the Convention Centre, West ballroom (Basement 2).

How to get here by public transportation?

By taxi:

Ask the taxi driver to stop at the “taxi drop-off point in Resorts World Sentosa underground car park”. Similarly, pick “Resorts World Sentosa” if you’re using or Grab or a Taxi app.


Take the North-East line or Circle line to HarbourFront station. At Harbourfront station, you can enter the resort by:

      • taking the RWS8 bus to the Resort ($1.00 per entry)
      • taking the Sentosa Express from level 3 of Vivocity and alighting at the first stop at Waterfront station. ($4.00 per entry)
      • walking using the Sentosa Boardwalk (Free entry to RWS)

By Bus:

Board at bus stops outside VivoCity, Merrill Lynch HarbourFront and before Seah Im Road. A flat fare of S$1.00 applies when entering the Resort. Exiting the Resort using the RWS8 bus is free.

What are the driving directions to the venue? What is the parking fee?

Upon entering Sentosa Gateway, keep to the left lane and head down Ramp A. Bear right and look for the “Cars/Taxis” sign overhead. The closest carpark to the conference venue is the Casino Carpark. Please request for your complimentary parking ticket at the AAC registration booth

Can I receive CPD credits for attending the conference?

The 2019 AAC qualifies for CPD credits based upon professional body’s CPD requirements of each delegate. A maximum of 15.2 CPD hours* (1 CPD hour = 60 minutes) will be awarded. The amount of CPD hours recorded is left to the discretion of individual delegates.

What are Parallel sessions and how do I select which ones to attend?

Parallel sessions are break-out sessions during which you may choose to attend one of three presentations that are of interest to you.

Please keep a look-out for the full conference schedule. You will be able to select which sessions to attend on the day of the conference itself.

What is the dress code for the event?

The dress code for the event shall be business attire.

How can I reserve a hotel room, and what are the rates?

AAC delegates may enjoy corporate rates at a number of hotels in Singapore. More information on rates and reservations can be found on the Accommodation webpage https://aacsg2019.org/accommodation/. Kindly make your own arrangements for hotel reservations.

I am an overseas participant and need a letter of invitation before I can receive my visa. What is the procedure?

If you require a letter of invitation to apply for a visa, kindly reach out to registration@aacsg2019.org for assistance.

I'm a presenter - is there a PowerPoint template I should be using?

There is no standardized PowerPoint template to be used for the conference. Do take note that the Powerpoint slide aspect ratio will be 16:9.

How do I make a correction or change on my registration?

If you have registered via Eventbrite, you may make corrections or changes to your registration via your Eventbrite account. Otherwise, please email registration@aacsg2019.org with the changes to be made.

How can I receive a list of participants or attendees?

We will not be disclosing the list of participants or attendees prior to the conference. You will be able to engage with the other AAC delegates via the conference app over the course of the conference.

Can I bring my spouse and children?

We will prioritize the available slots for registered AAC delegates. Hence, we are unfortunately not able to guarantee that your spouse or children will be able to participate.

Can I change my choice of activity after I have registered?

Yes, you may do so before 20 Sep 2019. If you have registered via Eventbrite, you may change your choice of activity via Eventbrite. For other registration methods, please e-mail accounts@aacsg2019.org and registration@aacsg2019.org with your request for change.

What happens if I cannot make it for the activity?

If you are not able to make it for the activity, please inform us via e-mail at accounts@aacsg2019.org and registration@aacsg2019.org before 20 Sep 2019.

Transfer to another delegate is allowed at your own discretion.

Please note that a no-show penalty of S$100.00 will apply.

How long will the afternoon activity last?

The afternoon activity will start after lunch on Thursday and is expected to last until late afternoon, depending on the type of activity you have chosen.

Will transportation be provided for the afternoon activity?

We will provide transportation from the conference venue to the activity venue as necessary. Transportation back to the conference venue will be provided but optional.

In case of activities located close to the conference venue such as Universal Studios, our organizing staff will be happy to usher you to the respective venues.

Will the afternoon activity be cancelled if it rains?

In the event of light rain, the afternoon activity will still carry on. Please look out for announcements on the actual day for updates on the wet weather arrangements.

What is the dress code for the afternoon activity?

You are encouraged to dress comfortably for activities that involve moving about outdoors, as the weather in Singapore can be quite hot (i.e. 25-31 Celsius degree) and humid.

What do I need to know before choosing the activity?

Please check the Activities page (https://aacsg2019.org/activities/) for the available options and basic information on each activity.

Some of the activities involve physical activity. Please take note of your own physical condition when choosing your preferred activity.

Where do I collect my Afternoon Activity Ticket (only for USS, S.E.A. Aquarium and Mega Adventure)?

Collection of afternoon activity ticket for USS, S.E.A. Aquarium and Mega Adventure will be on Thursday, 24 October 2019 at the Registration Counter from 8.00am to 1.00pm.

Can I use my ticket on other days if I opt for USS, S.E.A Aquarium and Mega Adventure?

No. All activities are only available on Thursday, 24 October 2019.

Can I go on other days if I have opt for iFly Singapore, Vintage Vespa Tour, Crazy Rich Asians Tour, Communication for Actuaries Workshop and Connect @ HardRock?

No. All activities is only available on Thursday, 24 October 2019.

Will the presentations be recorded and accessible afterwards?

Yes, most presentations will be recorded by our Platform Partner actuview and can be watched by AAC participants free of charge after the event on www.actuview.com. After the conference, participants will receive their personal registration code for the platform via email. This will also allow to access all other recordings published on the platform.
